Every Tapio card has an embedded NFC chip. When someone holds their phone near it, their device reads a unique link and opens your profile in the browser — no app, no setup, no pairing required.
Do my contacts need to install anything?
No. Tapio works entirely in the mobile browser. They tap, your profile loads, they save your contact straight to their phone. That is the whole flow.
Will it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Every modern iPhone (XS and newer) and almost every Android handset can read NFC tags out of the box. iPhones need the screen on; Android works even quicker.
Can I update my profile after ordering?
Anytime. Edit your details, swap your photo, change links — every change appears the next time someone taps your card. The card itself never needs reprinting.
How long does delivery take in the UAE?
Standard blank cards ship within 1–2 working days. Custom and metal cards take 3–5 working days because each one is individually finished.
What if I lose my card?
You can deactivate the lost card from your dashboard and order a replacement. Your profile and saved contacts stay safe.
Is there a subscription fee?
No. Tapio is a one-time purchase. You own the card, you own your profile, forever.
